Human Capital Development at Telenor Pakistan

The second program was on the recruitment processes at multinationals and information on how students can equip themselves better to move towards a career of their choice.

Manager Recruitment Faisal Khan and Executive Recruitment Nadia Azher Khan spoke to Fasi Zaka on how to better manage ones career and how to prepare oneself for an interview.

Telenor Pakistan Career Management Workshop is an attempt to educate students on making a better resume and effectively presenting oneself in the interview. These two activities are extremely cardinal in giving one a breakthrough in the corporate sector.
Our recruitment team evaluates candidates on the bases of a competency framework to hire the best. And to date Telenor Pakistan enjoys a very nice blend of talent from local and international universities.
Telenor Pakistan’s hiring process includes the following steps

Hiring funnel:
Advertising/C.V Collecting/ Talent hunt
Screening / Short listing
General Test (Line & Recruitment)
TST, PPA or Simulation
Interview
Candidate Finalization
Offer &
Acceptance
On-Boarding
*Tests are all need based.

The hiring process takes 6-8 weeks.
Before applying for any position, it is imperative for the graduates to evaluate themselves and identify their interests, their strengths and those avenues that they would like to explore, in a nutshell they need to have a strong sense of direction!
When a candidate comes for an interview, it is strongly recommended that they should review and be able to justify everything they have mentioned on the resume.
