| Telenor Pakistan's flagship community support initiative called DUA was launched on 23rd June 2006 in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages of Pakistan.
DUA aims at providing support to a hundred earthquake orphans, offering communication services for children to talk to their distant relatives, equipping SOS emergency staff with free connections, and working with SOS to raise funds for the innocent victims of the devastating earthquake last year. The Telenor Pakistan employees at all levels have committed to volunteer their services to support other ongoing activities at SOS as well. SOS Children's Villages of Pakistan is a private social welfare organization which offers orphaned and abandoned children a new and permanent home.
