In-Flight Roaming Service

Telenor Pakistan proudly launches In-flight mobile phone services onboard International flights collaborating with AeroMobile exclusively on Emirates Airline. With AeroMobile complete global coverage, Telenor customers can safely use their own mobile phones to call and sms just as they would on ground.

Currently the service is available on over 45 Aircrafts. Furthermore, Aero Mobile will soon launch its services with Qantas Airlines and Turkish Airlines.


How does it work?

  • You will simply switch ON your phone once the aircraft reaches the cruise altitude as directed by the cabin crew
  • Each passenger’s phone will then receive a free text message (SMS) from the AeroMobile system advising passengers to switch their phones to silent mode
  • Services will be billed directly to the user’s mobile account as an international roaming call

Benefits

  • Telenor customers can safely use their mobile phones to make calls and SMS as they would on ground
  • Caller ID will also function as normal
  • No special handset settings are required to enjoy the service
  • A subscriber will have the luxury of using his personal phone and address book while in flight

Note:

  • Please ensure International Roaming is activate on your subscription.
  • The service will not work during take off and landing.
  • Your IR bill will be generated in Pakistani Rupees.
