Important steps to remember while travelling:

Automatic Roaming: Depending on your destination:
Our valued subscribers can enjoy international roaming without any extra steps to follow. All you need to do is switch on your handset at your destination and enjoy our International Roaming facility.

In Automatic Roaming, you will be connected to the Roaming Network just within One Minute after switching ON your mobile phone.

Manual Process (Recommended Method)

When abroad...
1. Use PIN Code for International Roaming.

Turn on your mobile phone (if your phone is on, turn it off and on again).
Enter the International Roaming PIN code. This will be your usual PIN code + "1" (i.e. 00001 by default).
Follow the instructions on your handset, if any.
When you see the name of the network in the display, you are connected, which may in some instances take up to five minutes. You can then make or receive calls and send SMS.

On return to Pakistan;
Turn on your mobile phone (if your phone is on, turn it off and on again).
Enter the national PIN code. This will be your usual PIN code (i.e. 0000 by default).
You can now use the Telenor Pakistan services as per your subscription.

The same process can be done through the Telenor Menu on your SIM card. However each handset model will react differently while using the Telenor Menu for this purpose. For your information, following are the steps while using the Telenor Menu.

2. Use Telenor Menu (mandatory if the PIN code has been deactivated).

Turn on your mobile phone the same way you usually do.
Go to the "Telenor Menu" on your mobile phone and select "Int. Roaming."
Go back out of the menu and wait to see the name of the network in the display, which may in some instances take up to five minutes, You can then make or receive calls and send SMS.
