What will happen to free SMS if customer migrates to another price plans?
Free SMS will be confiscated if customer migrates to any other price plans - e.g if some customer subscribes to Free SMS while being on TS 30 sec price plan and then migrates to TS A1; Free SMS will be confiscated.
When will Free SMS be awarded to customers?
Free SMS will be awarded at the instant activation via 555 IVR is done - after deduction of fee from customer account.
What is the validity of Free SMS?
Validity of Free SMS is 15 days, all unused Free SMS will be confiscated on the 16th day.
However, if some customer re-subscribes before expiry date, unused Free SMS will be added to the new Free SMS and validity will be set for 15 days.
If validity of main rupee account expires, free SMS will be confiscated.
On subscriber life cycle state change (e.g if customer is blocked or balance becomes -3) customer will not be allowed to use free SMS.
How can customer check Free SMS Account information?
Free SMS balance can be checked through USSD *111# and also via calling 555 IVR.
Can Free SMS be used for sending messages to other mobile operators or PTCL?
No, free SMS can only be used for sending On-net SMS – Telenor to Telenor only.
Can Free SMS be used for short codes?
No, free SMS cannot be used for sending messages to short codes/VAS services.
What will happen to main balance with reference to free SMS?
Main recharge account will not be affected in any way. Expiry of free SMS & main account are independent.
Can customers re-subscriber to this service? What will happen to existing Free SMS?
Yes, customers can re-subscriber to this service by calling 555
The new Free SMS will be added to the existing unused sms
And new validity of 15 days will be set
What will happen to Free SMS in case customer goes into negative balance?
Customer would be allowed to use free SMS while being in negative balance.
Can this service be activated by any other way?
No, this service can only be activated by calling 555 IVR. |
