Q. What is Missed Call Alerts (MCA)?
A. Missed Call Alerts (MCA) service allows customers with an easy to use call
logging and notification service, for calls received when the called party was not reachable. It is a unique, beneficial and all times effective service that
essentially notifies you about the calls which you did not answer even if your handset is switched off.

Q. How do I Subscribe/activate Missed Call Alerts Service?
A. Telenor customers can subscribe/activate this service by the following ways:

Call Telenor Call Centre at 345.

Visit any Telenor Sales & Service Centre or Franchise and ask for MCA service activation.

Write MCA and sms it to 345.

Q. What are the charges for Missed Call Alert Service?
A. Telenor Prepaid customers would be charged Rs. 50 (plus tax) for the activation of this service. However, this is one time charge and there are no further charges on receiving missed call alerts. For post paid cstomers, the activation of this this service is free of cost.

Q. Under what conditions will I receive missed call alerts?
A.
If you are Busy.
If you are Out of Coverage Area.
If your cell is Switched Off.
If there is No Reply from your side.

Note: This service can be enabled on the above mentioned scenarios. But its best utility is under the scenarios 2&3 as customers already get missed call indications for the scenarios 1&4. So MCA would work for the conditions 2&3.

Q. Would I need to do any changes in the handset settings for the activation of this service?
A. No! All the changes are done automatically.

Q. How would I know about a new notification?
A. You would be informed about any new notification via short message.

Q. Will I be able to receive missed call notifications when I am roaming internationally?
A. Yes.

Q. If someone has called 3 times and I was not reachable, will I receive three separate notifications?
A. You will receive a notification along with the frequency (number of times, a missed call is received from a specific number).

Q. Will there be separate Missed call Alerts for separate numbers?
A. No! Therewill be one Missed call alert for all the missed calls during the period customer is not accessible. However, if the number of missed calls are too many i.e. greater than the length of 3 SMSs, another Missed Call Alert will be sent to the customer with the remaining alerts.

Q. Would Missed Call Alert service affect my regular calls?
A. No.

Q. Is there a possibility that the Missed Call Alerts service is deactivated all by itself?
A. No! You have to deactivate the service yourself. You can
deactivate the service by the following ways:
Call Telenor Call Centre at 345 and ask for deactivating MCA.
Visit any Telenor Sales & Service Centre or franchise and ask the customer service representative to deactivate the service.
Write MCA OFF and sms it to 345.
