Do I need any handset settings to run Telenor Mobile TV on my phone?
Yes. Handset settings with 'Internet' APN are required as the application works on GPRS / EDGE (see Handset Settings).
Will Telenor Mobile TV work in GPRS coverage areas?
Yes. The service will work in GPRS coverage areas, however, with some degradation in service. The service works best in EDGE coverage area.
How will I know if I am in an EDGE or GPRS coverage area?
For all Telenor users, there is this service called 'Cell Info Display' that needs to be activated on your handset (for instructions on activating Cell Info Display, click here). Once activated, you can get location and EDGE status information.
What handsets are compatible with Telenor Mobile TV?

How will I get the relevant client/application for my handset type?
Simply type 'TV' and send it to '888'. You will receive acknowledgements via SMS, along with a WAP link to download the client/application. As soon as you click that link, your handset model and type will be sent to servers and subsequent relevant client/application is pushed to your handset for download. What if I have already subscribed to Telenor Mobile TV and then I change my handset; will I have to subscribe again?
No. You need not subscribe to the service again. However, you need to send an SMS with keyword 'MOB' to '888' to download client of your new handset. You will not be charged in this case.

Do I need to subscribe ONLY once?
No. Your subscription is valid for a period of 30 days, starting from the date and time of application download. Thereafter, you need to subscribe again by sending SMS with keyword 'TV' to '880' since your account expires on the 30th day. You will be charged for this re-subscription.
How will I know when my account will expire?
Upon subscription, you will be notified about the details for validity of your subscription via SMS, along with the date and time. Moreover, you will be notified via SMS 3 days prior to the expiry of your subscription.
What if I download the application via Bluetooth/Infrared from another user; will I be able to use the service?
You will be able to download and install the application on your handset. However, the application will not work since login and password are unique and are locked with each handset's IMEI (International Equipment Identity Number) and mobile number.
