How is SMIpE different from WiMax?

WiMax is wireless broadband- high-speed limited to metropolitan coverage. SMIpE is medium-speed intranet with anywhere coverage.

Who is using SMIpE services?

PSO, NADRA, World Bank, GSK, Unilever are some of the customers using Telenor SMIpE for their day-to-day operations.

Is SMIpE a Data Price Plan?

No. SMIpE is a roaming intranet solution. Any of Telenor Persona Voice or Data Packages can be used with SMIpE.

Can IP address be dedicated for clients using SMIpE?

SMIpE allows dedicated IP pool. That is every time a node tries to connect, it will be assigned an IP address from a fixed series of IP addresses. Dedicated IP address for each client can not be provided.

Does Telenor provide complete hardware & software solutions?
