Press Alert: Telenor now in 214 destinations

Islamabad, January 25, 2006: Telenor Pakistan has officially opened its GSM mobile network for commercial service in 14 more destinations, including Noushervikran, Sharaqpur, Nankana Sb, Sangla Hill, Mehmood Kot, MuzaffarGarh - Kot Addu Road, Havelian, Daultala, Dargai, Mingora, Sawabi - Mardan Link Road, Swabi - Topi Link Road, Khairpur and Hub. This new addition has taken Telenor's total score to 214 destinations nationwide.

Telenor will offer all its commercial cellular services through a network of Franchises and several hundred retail outlets on central locations. In all the said cities, customers will for the first time experience the new feature, Easyload, and also be able to enjoy industry firsts such as '2nd minute low price' and international roaming on prepaid. Four new competitive postpaid packages including zero line rent and F&F/ CUG features with very low prices will also be available. All these services have received great response from customers since their recent launch.
