Telenor Pakistan promoting Arts and Culture in Pakistan - collaborates with Rafi Peer Theater Workshop

Islamabad, 13 September 2006: Sharing the same vision, Telenor Pakistan and Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop have formed a strategic alliance for promoting performing arts and culture in Pakistan. This announcement was made after both organizations inked an agreement of mutual understanding in Islamabad.

Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop is an independent body that encourages cultural exchanges through various art forms from all over the world to Pakistan. The World Performing Arts Festival is the first of its kind in South East Asia. It facilitates the cultural and artistic interactions of the East and West that are the fundamental ideology of this organization. The festival showcases events ranging from Music and Drama to Film and Puppetry from all over the world.
