Telenor completes 15 years of empowering businesses

It has been 15 years since Telenor’s launch in Pakistan. During this time we have tried to live up to our purpose of empowering our society with state of the art, innovative, and affordable communication services. For us, it has been an exciting and humbling journey. We have been able to touch and enrich 46+ million Pakistani lives and thousands of businesses through our reliable services. Moreover, Telenor has been a torchbearer of customer centricity, innovation and responsible business conduct in the industry. All this would not have been possible without your trust and unwavering confidence in us. So, on our 15th birthday, I want to thank you for trusting Telenor and extending the opportunity to serve you. We are excited and looking forward to serving you for the next 15 years and beyond.

How are we preparing for COVID-19?

As you know COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation is rapidly evolving. We are taking measures to safeguard our employees, customers, and partners while ensuring seamless service delivery.

Firstly, we are closely monitoring the situation and have activated our business continuity plans to ensure seamless service delivery to you. We have tried our best to take into consideration all possible scenarios that can unfold in the coming days and how we will ensure business continuity.

Secondly, curtailing human contact is the first and foremost step in our fight against COVID-19. Therefore, with immediate effect, we have initiated a work from home policy for our employees. This will not affect their availability as they will be serving you over the phone and digital channels like WhatsApp, My Telenor Mobile App and Telenor’s B2B Portal (https://corportal.telenor.com.pk/login). Please get in contact with your Business Account Manager (BAM) for more details on the portal. In exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, we will ensure a physical visit by your BAM as well.

Thirdly, if one or more of our services are affected and there are any changes in service delivery due to unforeseen circumstances we will notify your company’s Point of Contact (POC) promptly over the phone and through e-mail.

These are testing times for all of us. I will encourage you to please exercise the precautionary measures that have been suggested by the health authorities, curtail all your physical engagements and shift to digital channels. Insha’Allah, we will emerge stronger and more resilient than ever before from this situation.
