IR Information Guide

Overview 

Telenor subscribers, while roaming, can now use the IR Information Guide with services to provide the needed information or just some enjoyment in order to maximize each trip abroad. This service allows roamers to get information about Popular Hotels, Sights & Sounds, reach Pakistani Consulate numbers in the visited country, get Language Translator, obtain information regarding Prayer timings, Roaming tariff, Credit Limit/Current Bill, Weather Forecasts and Currency Exchange Rates.

 

How to Use

  • Dial *345*444#
  • You will get a list of Top 10 Countries.
  • Reply with the country number to get the desired city list.
  • Reply with the city number to get the Service Menu.
  • To get information / use a service, reply to the service menu with service number.

 

Charges

  • Telenor customers can safely use their mobile phones to make calls and SMS as they would on ground
  • Caller ID will also function as normal
  • No special handset settings are required to enjoy the service
  • A subscriber will have the luxury of using his personal phone and address book while in flight
  • Please ensure International Roaming is activated on your subscription.
  • The service will not work during take-off and landing.
  • Your IR bill will be generated in Pakistani Rupees.
  • All prices offered are based on information provided by the network partner.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Prices are indicative and are subject to foreign exchange fluctuation.

How can I resolve No Network issue while using IR?

Find the network selection option in mobile menu (Network Settings). Manual selection option should be active & select the available networks one by one until the signals appear. If the issue persists, kindly log your complaint.

How can I resolve Incoming SMS issue while using IR?

Find the network selection option in mobile menu (Network Settings). Manual selection option should be active & select / change the available networks one by one until the signals appear & an SMS is received. If the issue persists, kindly log the complaint.

What I am supposed to do if I am unable to make or receive calls?

If signals available, kindly check the credit balance (procedure of balance check), If sufficient balance is available but you are unable to make outgoing calls, change the operator manually/change handset. If the issue persists, kindly log the complaint.
