Ownership Change FAQs

Visit our nearest franchise with your original CNIC and documents of party B (images of original CNIC, passport, visa, and proof of living abroad).

Ownership can be transferred to a blood relative only. Please visit our nearest franchise with your original CNIC along with the below required of the deceased person

Must have documents required to take along to the franchise:

o   Photocopy of CNIC of Party A (deceased person)

o   Party A CNIC cancellation certificate issued from NADRA or SMS reply of CNIC cancellation from 7000

o   CNIC of witness (mandatory: Must be from family registration certificate in case all other family members are under 18 years of age OR in case family is of 2 members only then the witness could be any close family member of party B)

o   Original death certificate of deceased person issued by NADRA

o   Original FRC (NADRAs family registration certificate)

o   Affidavit (halfnaama) needs to be printed on a legal stamp paper with the signature of party B and their witness (who must be enlisted in FRC)

o   Customer can get the affidavit from our franchise as well

o   Customer must have active SIM or SIM with visible IMSI

 

For a normal number, you can request ownership change after 30 days; and for a golden number, after 120 days of activation or the latest ownership update.

Visit our nearest franchise with the original CNICs of both customers (party A and party B) for Biometric Verification System (BVS).
