Dear Valued Customer,

I hope you and your organization are doing well and navigating successfully through the extraordinary circumstances that surround us. COVID-19 has disrupted the norms of both our personal and professional lives. We are going through unprecedented times where the pandemic is saddling healthcare systems and economies all across the globe as governments and businesses try to fight back.

On the bright side, we are almost through the reactionary phase. With every passing day, our resolve is getting stronger and our response is getting more informed. At the start of this crisis, we found ourselves unprepared amidst this chaos but now most of us have adapted to the new normal, both in our personal and professional lives.

Communication networks and digital platforms have taken the center stage and helped us on many fronts be it creating awareness, tracking suspect cases, managing remote teams, sustaining business operations or ensuring business continuity. This scenario puts immense responsibility on us at Telenor Pakistan to deliver on our vision of empowering the Pakistani business community in this hour of need. I and my team are determined to stand firmly with our customers during this crisis. I am confident that together we will weather this storm.

Keeping this in view we have launched an umbrella initiative called Business Continuity Packages (BCP) aimed at facilitating both existing and new corporate customers. The major project under the BCP initiative are: 

Hum Aik Hain – Free Offer

We knew that the work from home arrangement will cause a spike in your data and voice needs. We wanted to share this burden with you and therefore, we activated the “Hum Aik Hain” free offer on all your eligible corporate numbers. They got free 500 MB data, 200 Telenor Mins, 200 SMS and 20 Other Network minutes on top of existing resources. I hope that these resources came in handy and we were able to extend a helping hand. Business Continuity Add-on

We also considered the fact that there might be scenarios where your communication needs will exceed the combined resources of the “Hum Aik Hain” free offer and your current plan. To cater to such situations we have launched the “Business Continuity Add-on” that is designed to deliver extreme value while ensuring smooth connectivity. In only Rs. 600 (Excl. Tax) you get 4 GB data, 2000 Telenor Mins, 300 Other Network Mins and 2000 SMS (Local).

In addition to these offers, we have a robust business continuity plan in place that will ensure network availability throughout the crisis. Our continuous investment in upgrading and maintaining our networks will ensure seamless connectivity for you and your business. I firmly believe that our commitment and responsibility in the midst of a national crisis of this scale is not only limited to our customers but expands to the society at large; keeping that in mind Telenor has recently pledged a total of PKR 1.6 billion, in cash and kind, towards COVID relief efforts. We have contributed Rs. 50 Mn in cash to Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Fund and more cash contributions are intended to provide support in the form of protective equipment to healthcare workers and law enforcement professionals that are fighting on the front lines. The in-kind contribution has commenced through provision of subsidised and free telecom and banking services and offers. We are also making considerable investment in online learning for students and job seekers, in addition to food and ration distribution to people through continuation of our Share Your Meal Campaign.

In the end I would like to reiterate that while the times are uncertain and it is still hard to predict an end to this tribulation, you should be certain that Telenor will always stand with you.
